Russell Zahner

Russell has lived and worked in the Etheridge Shire since 1982. He began his career with Etheridge Shire Council (ESC), operating the council backhoe and concrete truck. In 1998, Russell and Janell bought their first truck and successfully started tender work for the council. Over the past 28 years, Russell has worked extensively with ESC and many local landholders, meeting a wide range of earthmoving needs.

Janell Zahner

Janell was born and raised in Forsayth and moved to Georgetown in 1980. She has spent her life in the Etheridge Shire, building strong community connections and supporting local businesses. Together with Russell, Janell has invested in Georgetown and the wider district through local enterprises, community support and a clear commitment to sourcing locally wherever practical.

Samantha Zahner

Samantha was born and raised in Georgetown and has lived locally her entire life. She began operating machinery for Delaney Civil Construction more than 10 years ago, after gaining experience working with her parents’ business on Etheridge Shire Council contracts. Her deep local knowledge and practical experience on council projects contribute to reliable, efficient site operations.

Workshop Supervisor/Leading Hand

Tristan Mclaughlin

For the past five years, Tristan has called Georgetown home and played a key role at Delaney Civil Construction. Along with his grader expertise, he’s skilled in operating triple road train side tippers, semi water carts, and HC floats. As Workshop Supervisor, he also oversees the maintenance and repairs of our fleet, ensuring all plant and equipment remain in top condition.
